A VPN you build yourself.

One click builds a WireGuard server on your own cloud account, in any region, in about two minutes. You pay the cloud around $4 a month and nobody else. Power off deletes the server and stops the bill.

v0.1.0

Oct 18, 2026

The first release of Blink: a Windows app that builds your own WireGuard VPN server on a cloud account you control, connects to it, and powers it off when you're done.

Install

Download Blink_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe below and run it. Requires Windows 10 or 11 (x64).

On first run Blink walks you through installing WireGuard for Windows if you don't have it, then adding an API key for your cloud provider.

Windows SmartScreen will warn you. The installer isn't code-signed yet. Choose More info → Run anyway. You can check your download against the SHA-256 below.

What it does

  • Builds a server on your own account: DigitalOcean, Amazon EC2, Linode, Google Compute Engine, or OpenStack (experimental). You pay the provider directly, usually a few cents an hour while the server exists.
  • Connects and disconnects through the official WireGuard for Windows tunnel service. Windows asks for permission once on connect and once on disconnect.
  • Power off, power on, move: delete the server to stop billing, rebuild it later, or switch to another location.
  • Add your phone: each server has spare device slots. Scan the QR code in the official WireGuard app for iOS or Android.
  • Tray icon that shows tunnel status, with optional close-to-tray and launch at sign-in.
  • Goat Invaders to play while the server builds.

Your API keys are stored in Windows Credential Manager. Blink never logs into the server it builds. Everything the server needs is generated on your PC and handed to the provider when the server is created.
